Get to know Stephanie:

Hobbies?
I love participating on the Color Guard (sometimes called a Flag team) at my high school. I was very excited when I auditioned and was selected a member of the team at the University I will be attending in the fall. My passion though, is singing! I hope to follow this passion and major in Music Education.

Favorite Singing Group?

I don't have a favorite group but, my favorite singer right now is Michael Buble'. He sings Jazz, which can be so much fun, and has an outstanding voice!definitely "

Who do you admire?

Ms. Walker, my choir director, is the person I consider to be my mentor. She has always inspired me to never give up and to always give my all in every performance. From Opera songs to Country songs, she has always been there to give me helpful information that I could use to improve myself.

What do you want to be when you grow up and why ?

My ambition is to one day become a Choir Director and pass on my love of music and singing to young people. I would also like to become a performer for Disney possibly before I begin my teaching career.

When did you start performing?

It seems as though I have always been singing! I started singing in programs as early as my pre-school years through church, and that has continued through the present with performances in our annual Easter Drama through solos or special parts. I have also sung the national anthem for sporting events at a major university in our area. I perform for various functions around the area. The one thing I am most proud of is my participation in the community choir in our area. I have been a member for 12 years and a part of the auditioned performance chorale for the last 6. I have had the opportunity through this to perform with the Symphony, sing in a documentary concerning Hurricane Katrina and perform at the Inauguration of our state's current Governor.

Do you have any pets?

I don't actually have a pet of my own right now but, I am hoping to get a Mini Dachshund soon!!!!!!!

If you had three wishes what would you wish for?

#1. I would love to become a performer at Disney World and play the part of Belle in the Beauty and the Beast stage show.

#2. Some day, I want to go to Austrailia

#3.To share my love of music as a Choir Director.
