Get to know Courtney:
Hobbies?
Dance is not only my hobby but also my passion in life!
I also enjoy cheering, modeling, photography, community service, pageants, and performing – any time and anywhere! Being a teen, naturally, I love to shop, play on the computer, and text my friends
on my cell phone!
Favorite Singing Group?
My
favorite singing groups change all the time but my current favorites are Avril Lavigne and Carrie Underwood and, of course,
"The Roar Into Action” singers!
Favorite Movie?
”Cinderella”
and “Are We There Yet”
Who do you admire?
Personally,
I most admire my mom for so many reasons but to name a few -- her perseverance to help me pursue my dreams, for being my biggest
supporter, for teaching me the need to get involved as a volunteer in my community, and for her amazing “CAN DO”
attitude! Professionally, I admire Lance Armstrong for his strength and determination!
What
do you want to be when you grow up and why ?
It is my hope to earn a full scholarship to Arizona State University where I will earn an MBA. I hope to tour with the Rockettes and, lastly, to open my own dance studio where I can share my love of
dance through teaching.
When
did you start performing?
I stepped
into my first combo tap and ballet dance class at the age of 2 ½. When I performed
at my first dance recital I knew it was love! I live at the studio, and I have
put in over 23 hrs. a week since before I can even remember. I currently am a
member of our Senior performing company and Senior competition team. I am a student
teacher assistant, and I have been taking teaching classes for 2 ½ years.
Do you have any pets?
I have a dog named “Lucky” and a cat name “Sassafrass” but we just call her “Sassy”
for short.
If you had three wishes what would you wish for?
1) I would wish we could find a cure for all the diseases and poverty
throughout the world;
2) to one day perform
on the stage at Radio City Music Hall; and
3) to live my dream of owning a successful dance studio.
Special
Note To My Fans...
Never give up on your
dreams! I hope that you
enjoy the CD and remember that no matter your age, don’t forget to "ROAR" into Action!
